How to fix most annoying error failed to connect to raw.githubusercontent.com port 443
raw.githubusercontent.com port 443 error
raw.githubusercontent.com refuse to connect
raw.githubusercontent.com timeout error
raw.githubusercontent.com network is unreachable error
You may face errors like given in upside and like this

This error belongs to proxy error you just need to setup proxy for raw.githubusercontent.com

I am using kali linux 2022.4 (Latest One)
Fix 1 : Setup Host for raw.githubusercontent.com
If you are facing error in kali linux or any other linux like termux you can follow this steps but directory may varry , you can go with this process only.
You just need to find that directory and that host file in any linux distro
Let’s fix it
First Go To Root Directory
- cd /
Now Go To Etc Directory
- cd etc
Now Edit Host File Using Nano
To Install Nano Type : sudo apt install nano
- sudo nano hosts
Now Add This Line
- 185.199.108.133 raw.githubusercontent.com
Save It
- ctrl x then y
Fix 2 : Updating Gitconfig File
Now you can find default config file on home ~/gitconfig
To Update
- git config –global –unset http.proxy
- git config –global –unset https.proxy
Restart Your System And Check Whether The Error Go Away
Fix 3 : Force Reset The Proxy To Empty String
To reset the proxy to empty string : Try this command
- git config –global http.proxy “”
